MacRae-Tunnicliffe Concord Funeral Home in Concord was recently presented with an award for its 75th year in the funeral business. The award, given by the Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, was presented at its annual Appreciation Night Banquet at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association represents over 500 funeral homes in the state and is the largest organization of funeral service practitioners in the Commonwealth. MFDA is a federated state affiliate of the National Funeral Directors Association based in Wisconsin.

Established in response to the community’s need, MacRae-Tunnicliffe Concord Funeral Home has been serving families of all faith traditions since 1936. The funeral home is proud to be family owned, operated and occupied. Glenn D. Burlamachi, owner and director, has established a benchmark in funeral service, and has been featured in numerous newspaper articles as well as national and local trade publications highlighting his high level of service, attention to detail and leadership qualities.
