As Funeral Director Glenn Burlamachi sat in one of the rooms at Concord Funeral Home, he couldn't help but look around and realize how fortunate he is to be working for a family-owned, operated and occupied business. "It's been a wonderful journey," Burlamachi said, who has been running the funeral home since 2004.

The MacRae-Tunnicliffe Concord Funeral Home is celebrating its 75th year in funeral business this year and Ted Tunnicliffe, predecessor of the funeral home, said Concord Funeral Home is not just serving families once.

"They remember us and come back," Tunnicliffe said. "They are strangers in the beginning and three days later they are our friends."
